The good feeding of the children inside the first childhood, is one of the factors to guarantee the integral development of the one smaller than age; but in view of the problems of unequal that they are presented in the society like they are it the unemployment, the education lack and the poverty.
The most vulnerable population in the society is since those smaller than age they are dependent of her parents and if they are not it in the capacity to offer them a good feeding, they are subjected to have irregularities in her physical and mental development.
In Antioquia a boy dies every other day for malnutrition and in municipalities of regions like Urabá and Low Cauca, a boy has approximately 200 times bigger probabilities of dying for this cause. In accordance with indicators of malnutrition in smaller than seven years, during the year 2000 in Antioquia 16% of the children presented chronic malnutrition and 5% global malnutrition, you calculate superiors to the national averages.
For this reason the government should continue improving and implemented programs of prevention and promotion like, growth and development, good beginning and to strengthen the sexual and reproductive education so that the development of the families is manifested in a planned way, in which the parents can offer their children a good quality of life.
